Paddling for a cleaner Ocean

Presentation by Mathilde Gordon and Lucy Graham from Passage Adventures. They will kayak from Juneau, Alaska to Vancouver Island, Canada. They want to experience new places, take on the elements, connect with nature, challenge ourselves and have fun! They plan to use the 3-month-long paddle to raise awareness of marine debris issues, fundraise for those fighting for ocean protection and conservation and inspire others.

They have both been living single-use plastic free since the beginning of 2016. We will take our plastic free challenge to the next level by also paddling the Inside Passage single-use plastic free.

This event will be a presentation about marine debris and talk about their upcoming trip.
