Saturday July 14th: Ocean Wise Presents: Drinks & Discussions with eXXpedition and the Port of Vancouver
The crew of eXXpedition will talk about and show photos/videos from their voyage and mission including through the Pacific Gyre. This is a great opportunity for shared action on ocean plastics, including solutions like the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup (we have a public event in planning for a beach clean up under the following week).
eXXpedition is a series of all women voyages to make the unseen seen, from the toxics in our bodies to the plastics in our seas. On the 16th of November 2014 eXXpedition launched the first mission with a crew of 14 women setting sail across the Atlantic Ocean in search of answers relating to the health of our environment and to the health of our bodies
