Race Rocks Live

On Tuesday, Feb. 26th, join experts live from the field for this very special event. Sponsored by BC Ferries and in partnership with Pearson College UWC and BC Parks, Live It will be live streaming from Race Rocks, an ecological reserve located off Southern Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Students will connect in real-time to explore the Coast Salish People’s connections to land and sea and learn about the effects of human-related underwater noise on marine species. This is an opportunity for students to hear traditional stories from the T’sou-ke Nation, learn about our interconnected relationships with our environment, effects of underwater noise and current research on how to reduce impacts.
