St. Albert Clean & Green Riverfest

May 11, 2019  11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Location:  St. Albert
Cost:  Free

Clean and Green RiverFest is an annual event intended to increase wildlife habitat along the Sturgeon River in St. Albert by collecting litter before it enters the river and planting native tree and shrub species. It's an opportunity for individuals, groups, and families to learn how you can impact the environment in a positive way.

Come and be a part of this year's event being held on Saturday, May 11 from 11am-2pm.  Meet us on the Red Willow Park trail behind St. Albert Centre mall and join other residents in cleaning up a section of the Sturgeon River valley, planting a native tree or shrub along the riverbank, enjoying a free hot dog BBQ, music, air-brush tattoos, and checking out interactive displays including the following groups: Alberta Conservation Association, Native Bee Council, Big Lake Environment Support Society, WildNorth, Trout Unlimited, North Saskatchewan Watershed Alliance and more!
