Can Geo Talks goes online! With the COVID-19 pandemic cancelling live events country-wide, our Canadian Geographic, Royal Canadian Geographical Society and 50 Sussex teams wanted to ensure our audience was still getting the chance to hear from explorers, experts and interesting people involved in geography.

Join us every two weeks beginning April 30 at 7 p.m. for a LIVE chat, hosted by digital editor Alexandra Pope at YouTube.com/canadiangeographic. Speakers will share their stories and expertise and take questions from our live virtual audience.

YouTube link will be provided the day of the event.
Submit questions for our first event with Jill Heinerth in advance! Email haggert@canadiangeographic.ca.

This event is FREE but donations to the non-profit Royal Canadian Geographical Society, Canadian Geographic and Canadian Geographic Education are greatly appreciated.

Jill Heinerth is a 30-year veteran of underwater filming, photography and exploration in submerged caves around the world. She has written several books and consulted on television shows and movies. She is the first Explorer-in-Residence of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society and has been awarded the Society’s Sir Christopher Ondaatje Medal for Exploration. Don't miss this exclusive opportunity to hear Heinerth speak about her life as a cave diver.
