Lauren in an educator and scientist who loves all things related to primates. She works at the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada managing the youth sustainability program, Roots & Shoots. She has studied primates in the lab and out in the field in Kenya and Tanzania. She will be sharing the story of Jane Goodall and how as a young woman she changed how we viewed our closets living relative, the chimpanzee. She will also speak about what primates are, why they are so cool to study and her own adventures following monkeys around the African Savannah.
