Microplastics are now everywhere in our daily lives, and have infiltrated every ecosystem on Earth. These discoveries have led researchers to become increasingly concerned about the impacts of this “structural pollutant” on marine ecosystems and human health. This live webinar and lecture will give an overview of the issue of microplastics, including highlighting what is known to date and what can be done to help. It will also explain pathways of human microplastic exposure and potential risks.

Tickets for this Nature X live webinar on microplastics start at $5, and all proceeds support the continued work of the Bateman Foundation to connect people to nature using art. If you are able to consider a larger donation, $10 and $20 tickets are also available. All tickets offer the same level of access to the same webinar, and you will receive the Zoom link in your confirmation email after purchase.
