#GoOceanBlue - Our Ocean in COVID-19

Over the next days, weeks, and months eOceans is helping scientists create a heat map of global ocean activities to document how it changes as we respond to COVID-19. Kind of like Strava’s heatmap of biking and running, but for the ocean.
Then, they'll compare these activities to all sorts of wildlife interactions to better understand the impact of humans on ocean wildlife and ecosystems.
If you’re self-distancing by the ocean or exploring the ocean you can help!
- Download the eOceans app,
- Log your activities and observations – whenever you are by or on the ocean, and
- We’ll do the rest -- helping scientists to better understand this global event.

Au cours des prochains jours, semaines et mois, eOceans aidera les scientifiques à créer une carte thermique des activités océaniques mondiales afin de documenter comment elle évolue au fur et à mesure que nous réagissons à COVID-19. Un peu comme la carte thermique de Strava pour le vélo et la course, mais pour l'océan.
Ensuite, ils compareront ces activités à toutes sortes d'interactions avec la faune pour mieux comprendre l'impact des humains sur la faune et les écosystèmes océaniques.
Si vous faites de la distanciation sociale près de l'océan ou vous explorez l'océan, vous pouvez aider !
