Mounting evidence, and the experience of our expert panel, points to the power of nature to support the well-being of children, especially during times of adversity. But many families lack access, underscoring the need for equitable connections to the natural world now and post-COVID19. Join us in exploring the latest research and practical ideas for incorporating nature into medical practices, public health, and community development strategies--during a time of social distancing and beyond. Dr. Danette Glassy, Mercer Island Pediatrics-Seattle, will moderate a panel discussion and Q&A with Dr. Hanaa Hamdi, Health Impact Investment Strategies and Partnerships, New Jersey Community Capital, and Dr. Nooshin Razzani, Center for Nature and Health, University of California San Francisco.
Registration is required.
