June 8 is World Oceans Day! Gauri Sreenivasan, Nature Canada’s Director of Policy and Campaigns, will be joined by the Honourable Bernadette Jordan, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans, and the Canadian Coast Guard, to discuss the importance of Canada’s oceans. This is your chance to learn and ask questions about Canada’s goals and targets for ocean protection, why conserving ocean biodiversity matters, and what policies support ocean health, strong coastal communities, and a sustainable Blue Economy.
