The impact of climate change on parks and protected areas is accelerating, resulting in rising temperatures, more intense and more frequent wildfires, increasingly intense river flooding, and the inundation of low-lying coastal areas due to sea level rise. This webinar will highlight the strategies that three urban park sites, the Bay Area’s Golden Gate National Recreation Area, San Francisco’s Crissy Field, and Louisville’s Ohio River Greenway are using to address the impacts of fire, flooding, and sea level rise.
