Elephant Thoughts will deliver half-day Biodiversity school workshops through a virtual two-way video feed from our Kimbercote School In Nature. These workshops will be delivered by Ontario Certified Teachers who have expertise in Nature Education. The Elephant Thoughts Kimbercote School In Nature is located in the heart of the Beaver Valley and within the UNESCO designated Niagara Escarpment Biosphere Reserve. It has the oldest forest ecosystem and trees in eastern North America. On the property, there are 18 species of wildlife classified as “at-risk” that we are working to protect. During this time of social distancing, students will receive, in advance, an exciting hands-on kit that will explore biodiversity with a special emphasis on endangered species and the Niagara Escarpment.
