Science North will deliver a series of biodiversity-themed videos to facilitate participation in Science Literacy Week across Northern Ontario and beyond through STEM-related activities. Bluecoats and Biodiversity will consist of 5 videos for school and general public audiences, linking them virtually to experts in biodiversity research, citizen science, conservation, Indigenous Ways of Knowing, and more! The live online events and videos will be shared on Science North’s social media platforms and YouTube channel, where they can be accessed by teachers and in-classroom students audiences, students distance-learning from home and public audiences. Students and teachers at home and in the classroom will have the opportunity to engage directly with science experts and ask questions to foster continued learning and excitement.
