Liselot is a Dutch primatologist who lives and works in Peru. She has worked with endangered spider monkeys for several years now years and is currently the manager for the rangers of an organization called Jungle Keepers. Junglekeepers is helping to create a conservation area in the vitally important Madre de Dios region of the Peruvian Amazon. They're working to protect one of the most biodiverse and pristine areas of this region: the Las Piedras river corridor, one of the last remaining untouched rainforests on earth.
