According to the U.N. FAO, 42.1% of Cameroon is forested. Of these forest cover, 1% is lost annually. At this alarming deforestation rate, if care is not taken the next generation will risk not having forest. We at Meg Wah have tilted attention towards causing a mind-set shift in children by providing opportunities where they can play, learn, interact and take commitments into safeguarding the environment. Our aim to is to; Raise Young Environmental Ambassadors/leaders that will champion the course for a healthier, cleaner and safer environment - Cause a mindset shift and build habits in children towards environmental restoration. Raise awareness of critical environmental problems among children so they can be part of the solution.
