Join your fellow citizen scientists and nature enthusiasts for a weekend-long BioBlitz.

The City Nature Challenge (CNC) is an international citizen science effort to discover and document plants and wildlife in cities across the globe. The observation period of CNC 2021 will take place April 30 - May 3.

It’s easy to get involved using the iNaturalist app (free on the app store). Just take a picture of a plant or an animal and upload it to the app. 

TNC chapters across the US, including Columbus, Ohio, Houston-Galveston and Orlando, to name a few, will be taking part. 

The city with the most observations will be announced as the winner.  

Explore around your city, your own backyard or neighborhood parks. There's nature all around you!
