Stéphanie is the collections manager for the vertebrate collections at the Canadian Museum of Nature. Specifically, she is responsible for the fish, amphibian, and reptile collections. These collections together hold over one million specimens. Prior to starting her work at the museum in 2014, Stéphanie completed a master’s degree at the Université du Québec à Montréal, with her thesis focusing on modelling foraging behaviour in chipmunks and squirrels. She also conducted fieldwork to study the impact of roads on frog populations. Stéphanie’s work at the museum includes collecting fishes in Canada to further develop the collection and preparing specimens for museum exhibits.
