Want to meet other London, England, schools that get children outdoors? Join us for our first ever London National Park City Schools online TeachMeet!
Schools have a critical part to play in helping children build that all important relationship with the outdoors, and never more so than right now.
To create climate activists of the future, children need two key inputs*:
- Time outdoors to just be, to play, to explore.
- Inspirational adults that listen to them.
What better day to host the first London National Park City Schools TeachMeet than as part of the London Climate Action Week Schools Summit?
This TeachMeet is a chance for teachers, school leaders, and organisations that support them in getting outdoors to meet, share knowledge, share pains, hear some inspirational speakers and take part in speed-planning, creating mini outdoor missions to inspire all teachers to get outdoors!
This event is for London schools (though all welcome!) and the organisations that support London Schools to get outdoors.
