Colin is Head of Education at Crocodiles of the World – the UKs only crocodile zoo. A life-long love of all things crocodilian has led to him running a zoo in Australia, visiting schools in both Australia and the UK to talk about crocodiles and conservation issues, being the Director of Madras Crocodile Bank Trust in India, and an active and enthusiastic member of the IUCN/SSC Crocodile Specialist Group. Crocodilians and their conservation are his main professional interests. He has published many articles and scientific papers. In 2019, Colin’s first book was published by New Holland Publishers in Australia, called ‘Crocodiles of the World: a complete guide to Alligators, Caimans, Crocodiles and Gharials’.
