The 2nd Asia Parks Congress is being held to address the increasing pressures on the region’s protected areas. The Congress will address the challenges facing this dynamic region through learning, sharing of experience and close collaboration.

Tentatively the proposed topics which will be discussed during the Congress are as following;

• WG1: Ensuring a more Resilient Future: Nature-based Solutions for Health and Wellbeing
• WG2: Engaging Partners: Governance of Protected and Conserved Areas
• WG3: Ecological Networks: Connectivity and Transboundary Conservation
• WG4: Quality Counts: Effective Protected and Conserved Areas
• WG5: Sustainable Conservation: Economic and Financial Sustainability of Protected and Conserved Areas
• WG6: Urban Futures: Urban Conservation and a New Generation
