Exploring by the Seat of Your Pants is teaming up again this year with Parks Canada and the Royal Canadian Geographical Society for a coast to coast to coast virtual road trip to national parks, historical sites and national park reserves! Each of the ten locations will have a live English and a French event: https://www.exploringbytheseat...

The Fortress of Louisbourg is a treasure trove for archaeologists: there are hundreds of artefacts in the ground, and each one can tell us lots of things about what life was like in the 18th century. But there is a problem: the sea-level around Louisbourg is rising, and with each big winter storm, there is a risk that some of the artefacts will be swept out to sea. What can archaeologists do to prevent all of this knowledge from being lost? Join us as we tour Louisbourg archaeological collection and talk about rescue archaeology: the race against coastal erosion.
