Exploring by the Seat of Your Pants is teaming up again this year with Parks Canada and the Royal Canadian Geographical Society for a coast to coast to coast virtual road trip to national parks, historical sites and national park reserves! Each of the ten locations will have a live English and a French event: www.exploringbytheseat.com/road-trip/
Hawks, eagles, and falcons, oh my! Lace up your hiking boots, grab your binoculars, and get ready to join scientists for some of the coolest field work in all of Canada! Journey far north of the Arctic circle into the 24 hour daylight to Tuktut Nogait National Park – one of our country’s most remote national parks. Here you’ll dodge the fastest animals on the planet as they dive bomb you from above and learn about birds big enough to hunt caribou! Help scientists count the raptor nests along the Hornaday River and learn why birds of prey are so important for the Arctic ecosystem.
