About this event
“I often think when I'm in the forest, I'm listening to a symphony. It provides oxygen for us and food and for all of the creatures that live in the forest. It takes a symphony to create a beautiful piece, and that is what the forest is.” — Dr. Suzanne Simard
The evening will consist of a key note presentation by Dr. Suzanne Simard, followed by an armchair discussion featuring representatives from Nature Canada and Enviro Crew for a national and local perspective. The audience will then be invited to ask questions and contribute to an open discussion about how to protect Canada’s forests.
Book-signing will be available after the seminar.
This is the inaugural event of the Southminster Community Forum. For more information visit this site.
