How does one become the largest omnivore in North America? Let’s ask the grizzly bears to find out! Join the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo and Bow Habitat Station for a journey into the land of grizzly bears and one of their favourite snacks – bull trout. From building a bear habitat that mimics the Rocky Mountains to consuming massive quantities of freshwater fish before going into torpor, we’ll spend the morning learning about these majestic animals and what we can do to be bear aware when in their home ranges.
