Earlier this year, Erden became the first person to row solo across the Pacific Ocean, north of the equator. After 10 months, with stops in Hawaii and Guam, he arrived in the Philippines! Along the way he raised awareness about plastic pollution, conservation of our ocean, and spoke with classrooms around the world. Erden is the holder of 16 Guinness World Records, having already completed an epic human-powered journey around the world. He is in the midst of a second one, with a plan to climb Everest among other goals.
