Join Hilde and Sunniva live from the Arctic Circle Assembly in Iceland. It's the largest network of international dialogue and cooperation on the future of the Arctic and our Planet. It is an open democratic platform with participation from governments, organizations, corporations, universities, think tanks, environmental associations, indigenous communities, concerned citizens, and others. It is nonprofit and nonpartisan. Join Sunniva and Hilde prepare for the launch of their future Arctic Canada project at this assembly, the presenters and the issues at stake could not be more important than right now!

Special guest Alianai Niviatsiak is originally from Rankin Inlet, Nunavut, but she has called Iqaluit home since 2015. She is a mom, an artist, and a proud public servant with the Government of Canada. Alianai is the Arctic Youth Council Coordinator with the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG). Alianai is a graduate of the 2020 Inuit Learning and Development Program cohort run through Pilimmaksaivik and is interested in continuing her career in recruitment. She also plans to continue to highlight the beauty and artistry of the North through her volunteer work with the Alianait Arts Festival. Arctic policy seems to be an integral aspect of the work that she is interested in, and would like to learn more to benefit my fellow Inuit and Nunavummiut better.
