Join TNC Utah and Snowbird for a panel discussion and a special presentation, "Dust on Powder: Saving the Great Salt Lake and the Greatest Snow on Earth"!

A desiccated Great Salt Lake would spell disaster for Utah’s snow and ski season. Dust from the drying lakebed is melting the snowpack of the Wasatch Mountains, threatening a Utah industry that attracts 4.5 million visitors every year and adds $1.4 billion to the economy. Dr. Bonnie Baxter with the Great Salt Lake Institute and Dr. McKenzie Skiles from the University of Utah will share their latest findings and their hopes for saving Utah’s most unique natural wonders.
