At We As Nature live events, we harness the power of storytelling to explore our interconnections with the living world. Think campfire stories, but on Zoom!

Artist, designer, storyteller and independent researcher Alyen Foning resides in her ancestral home – the Lepcha community, with its sacred mountains and rivers, at the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas. Alyen’s childhood was spent in the city, disconnected from her roots, art was her method of connecting with the vibrant ecosystem to which she belonged but felt so far from.
