Join the Burnaby NatureKids Club and learn all about Astronomy at Simon Fraser University!SFU Faculty of Science will feature activities and demos on astronomy and
an outdoor tour at Trottier Observatory. Weather-permitting, participants
will observe celestial phenomena through the dome telescope.Hands-on activities and demonstrations exploring the wonders of astronomy, from planets and galaxies to constellations. Explore the mysteries of gravity, unravel the timeline of key astronomical events, and discover the Doppler effect. Outdoor walking tour of the Trottier Observatory with introduction to start charts, a cosmic calendar, sun dial and a peep into the telescope inside the dome (weather-permitting).
