The Nature Conservancy invites you to opening night of The Biocrust Project, an exhibition by Jorge Rojas and Dr. Sasha Reed at the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art (UMOCA).

Humans use both art and science to explore, understand and communicate information about our world. Despite this inherent connection, artists and scientists typically work in isolation from one another. Jorge Rojas and Dr. Sasha Reed have created an audiovisual art installation that includes voices from indigenous, scientific and environmental perspectives.

The exhibition is the result of TNC's Canyonlands Research Center's inaugural Artist in Residence program.
